Remember that I have told you about the photoshoot and meeting I had two weeks ago?
Today I can finally tell you the good news!

From today on, I'm going to blog for the first Dutch bloggers platform called www.creatorsofdesire.com
My blog will move to the new website but everything will stay the same, except the new lay out of course ;)

Why?
It's a big opportunity for me to bring my blog to a higher level.
I'm going to blog (almost) everyday about my personal style, fashion events, lookbooks, travelling..
everything around fashion!

Last thursday I went to the opening from the TOPSHOP in-store in SPRMRKT, Amsterdam.
It's a small selection from different Topshop collections, including the make-up line and swimwear.
Even though it is not a big store from Topshop itself, the opening was fun and hopefully there will be a BIG Topshop store in the future!

By the way, there will arrive new clothes from the Topshop collection every week and about 2/3 months there will also be a TOPMAN collection at the SPRMRKT store.

Sorry that it took so long for a new update.
Here are a few pictures from the events that I have visited last week.

First event was from Cosmopolitan magazine, they had organized a contest for the most beautiful legs. The next event was from the DIESEL showroom, they had a bloggers press day for showing the collections that will hang in stores next week & the new perfume. Afterwards the Diesel team took a small selection of bloggers to a theatre show about social media, it was really fun!
Between the events I went to the Little Buddha Bar in Amsterdam with all the blogger girls for sushi (picture 5).

If you follow me on twitter you probably saw me tweeting in the fittingroom from River Island last tuesday.
I was trying a maxi skirt and a bright pink ruffle top, but I had my doubts because it is something new for me. But at the end I bought them both. The pretty limegreen draped dress is from Asos and I'm wearing it in my next outfit post, which will be online tomorrow!

This afternoon the postman brought me my new military jacket/blazer from Rinascimento via the "Le Ballon" webshop. The Le Ballon webshop is recently opened but they also have many shops in different cities in the Netherlands. For my Dutch readers who are not familiar with the store, they have stores in Utrecht, Eindhoven, Breda, Den Bosch, Nijmegen, Amersfoort, Arnhem, Apeldoorn, Enschede en Ede.
It's difficult to capture the jacket well but I will make an outfit photo with the jacket soon!

I visited the Filippa K store last week because Filippa K was celebrating their 10 years anniversary in the Netherlands! I'm a huge fan of Scandinavian brands and Filippa K is definitely one of them.
One of the girls from the Swedish headquarters was wearing a beautiful blouse and I was immediately hooked..
You can see the blouse on the second picture!

As you know, I recently visited different PR agencies for the press days and these pictures are from the MOOI PR showroom. They represent fashion and beauty brands such as Steve Madden, Hunkemöller, UGG Australia, OPI and ModelCo.

Yesterday I was invited for the presentation from the new Ready to fish_collection at the Ready to fish Brand Store in Amsterdam. Ready to fish_ is an amazing brand from designer Ilja Visser and the store is just as beautiful as the collection!

Every first friday of the month they organize a friday afternoon drink, which was held after the presentation.
They made amazing summer cocktails at the bar inside the store!
Too bad I didn't took a picture from the cocktailbar..

Last thursday I was invited for the bloggers event at the Unlimited PR showroom.
There was a cocktail table where we could make our own cointreaupolitan cocktails, we had a lot of fun making the cocktails! Besides cocktails there was a make-up artist from MAC, who showed the latest make-up trends and you could design your own t-shirt/bag at the Converse table. And of course, we were able to watch the new collections.
I loved the sunglasses from Fendi and PUCCI!

The colour is more pink than expected, on internet the colour was nude/blush, but I love these booties anyway!

Yesterday was the Christian Dior show during Paris fashion week.
It was the last show and collection from designer John Galliano who was dismissed last week because of his recent anti-semitic remarks. So the show ended with a bow by the atelier staff who helped create the collection, all wearing white lab coats.
The color palette was very autumn with deep burgundy, gothic black and emerald greens. Towards the end, the designs became more light and airy, showcasing ruffled dresses that were a cheeky cross between lingerie and evening wear.
The collection was great but the lace up shoes were really beautiful!
I am very curious about the price because the camel lace up boots are so amazing..

After Style Comes Fashion is celebrating her 1 year anniversary!
"officially it was yesterday, I almost forgot.."

I remember when I first started blogging, with small simple pictures and a purple layout.
And I was so happy when I had reached the first 100 followers.
Now I have more than 1400 followers on Bloglovin and Google friend connect, it's amazing!
I have been to many great events which made my dreams even bigger and bigger.

One of the great things about being a fashion blogger is receiving invites for fashion events.
But also that you're the first to know something about new collections.
So last week I have received a big package in my mailbox and it turned out to be a press kit from the brand s.Oliver which include a big book from the spring summer 2011 collection.
I'm actually nog a big fan from the brand but I have seen a few pretty items and the book is very beautiful!

After watching different shows from New York Fashion week online, I saw a lot of models wearing fur on the catwalk. At the shows from Donna Karan, Anna Sui, Michael Kors and Carolina Herrera I saw big fur coats, fur aviator coats and big fur scarves.
As we have seen the fur-trend last winter, the trend will continu for winter 2011.
I am not a big fan from fur but I do like fake fur.. What do you think?

For the first time L'Agence is showing her collection at the catwalk in Amsterdam on the last day from AIFW. It was also the worldwide launch of the first L'Agence sunglasses collection by SAMA eyewear.
The show was a beautiful finale from fashion week!

Today it's exactly one year ago since Alexander McQueen is no longer with us.
On 11-02-2010 the fashion world was shocked by the sudden death of one of the greatest designers.
Luckily his fashion label maintained and we can still enjoy his beautiful designs every season!

After the biggest and most amazing show from Amsterdam Fashion week, SUPERTRASH.
It was time for the afterparty!
A lot of bloggers were present at the party and it's always fun with each other!

I wish I could show you some pictures from the Supertrash show but it was almost impossible to make good pictures because of the big location and the high tribune I was sitting on.
But the show was absolutely fabulous!

Maybelline NY presents Tony Cohen, the first show on saturday evening.
The shows from Dutch designer Tony Cohen are a big succes in New York but this was the first time that he showed his collection on Amsterdam fashion week.
The clothes are a mix from luxurious fabrics such as silk, chiffon, fairtrade fur and leather.
I love the embellishments on the tops and dresses from the 2nd and 3rd picture!

LUISAVIAROMA.COM celebrates the official opening for the spring/summer 2011 fashion calendar with an exclusive party for fashion bloggers. It's an unique fashion event in Florence, Italy.

The FIRENZE 4EVER event takes 3 days with photoshoots, interviews and a fabulous dinner at Club Cavalli, with 40 top bloggers from all over the world.
At the end there was a closing party with even more fashion bloggers, designers and other fashion people. It was an amazing experience! I love the city Firenze (Florence) and it was great to meet new fashionable people from different countries!

Come over to the darkside we have candy and Nadja for the FIRENZE 4EVER event from LUISA VIA ROMA. The fashion bloggers dinner party was on saturday evening so Nadja and I went exploring the city while Cindy was at the Luisaviaroma store for the Styling lab and photoshoot.
Firenze is such an amazing city, I love the stores, buildings, food and people!

The show was on the 18th of September in London so you have might seen these pictures before.
But the pictures are just so amazing!

TASSELS:

One of the trends for next season is the "tassels trend".
While it's been a constant to see the odd, small tassel on leather accessories like handbags and purses, we're now seeing them prominently - oversized, extra long, brightly coloured or made to stand out in some way.
And it's no longer just handbags: for spring 2011 they're on everything from shoes to dresses to belts and hats.

This week I was invited for the press evening from RIVER ISLAND in Amsterdam.
River Island showed some pieces of the new spring/summer 2011 collection.
I have always been a huge fan from the collections, especially the shoes and accessoires!
If you have you read my blog about Oona PR/River Island from a few months ago, then you have probably already seen that there are some beautiful shoes in the new collection!

I have finally bought these amazing heels from Zara, I saw them a few months ago in the stores but I was so stupid that I didn't bought them right away.. But now I found them again (also cheaper)!

The blanket wrap cardigan was on my wishlist for quite a long time.
At the moment that I wanted to place an order, it was sold out.. but luckily they restocked!

From now on I'm not going to buy anything that I like but only the things that I really need, like cardigans and sweaters for the winter. Lace up boots with high heels are also on my list, but first things first..

While we are enjoying the snow and upcoming christmas, H&M just released the lookbook from the spring/summer 2011 collection.

This season there’s a particular focus on the mood of the 60s and 70s, with brightly coloured shapes that are short and sharp alongside a more romantic silhouette that is long and elegant. To make a modern mix, these pieces are teamed with seasonal trends and modern essentials with innovative shapes and proportions.

COLOURS:
- Misty make-up tones, navy, white, beige, yellow and pink

A few weeks ago GRAZIA magazine was searching for fashionbloggers/fashionlovers with a big social network (blogger, twitter, facebook and more).

Hi guys, did you enjoyed your weekend?
My weekend was full of birthdayparty's, working and trying to find some time for making new blog pictures ;)

Many fashionista's woke up really early this morning to get their hands on one of the Lanvin for H&M collection items. I'm not a huge fan from this collection but there are a few lovely items.
This morning I woke up at 6 and decided to make a few pictures for my blog but when I arrived in front of the H&M store everything went to fast! Unfortunately there was no press allowed so I couldn't make any pictures inside!
I also had a little meeting with blogger Puck, he gave me his wristband for the 3rd group so I could buy a few things..

Dark camel blazer

This week I have received my new dark camel blazer but I still have doubts..

I don't know why my skin is so light on the pictures, maybe because of the fact that I just painted my hair in a darker colour..

UPDATE: Thank you for all the response but I have decided to sell the blazer.
Because the colour is too dark and I have too many doubts about it.

The winter is coming up.. it's getting dark and cold.
Last week we had a storm and lot's of rainy days so sorry for the lack of outfit post.
I will make it up with you this week, when I receive my new camel blazer, chino pants and hopefully some new shoes!

I also received a lovely gift from My Name Necklace two weeks ago, which I still had to share with you.
They made this lovely necklace with my name on it, thank you so much!

Bag addiction

All women love bags, that's a fact.
Large bags, small bags, expensive bags and vintage bags, it does not matter.. we have a weakness for pretty bags. Actually I do not have much bags, I have six large bags and a few small bags which I use when I go out for party's, not much right?

My most expensive bag is from MaxMara.
I was walking down the streets in the beautiful city Pisa in Italy when I passed the MaxMara store and there he was, behind the window.. but the store was closed during lunchtime!
So I went back to the store after 1 hour and bought the bag immediately and it was also the last one!
Because at the moment I walked out the store, I saw two other girls starring at me like
"damn, she bought the bag!". That was so funny!

So that was my small story about bags and now I have collected a few bags together in this picture.
Which one is your favorite? It's so hard to pick one out because they are all so amazing!

By the way, I will make new outfit pictures as soon as possible!

Yesterday I went to the showroom from Oona PR for the collections for spring/summer 2011.
Brands such as Marc-Phillipe Coudreyre, Comma, Mounsieur Maison, River Island, s.Oliver and Maasmechelen Village. My favorite items are the high heel sandals with bows, they are from River Island and available in navy blue and red. A special thanks goes out to Marie Lemaitre who invited me and showed me the collections that day, she was so sweet! And it was great to meet other fashionbloggers!

Jennifer Lopez and her two beautiful two-year-old twins Emme and Max are shining in the new GUCCI campaign. She is such a beautiful and warm person, a natural beauty! And so are her kids!
Fashion photographers, Mert Alas and Marcus Piggot captured the campaign this summer on the beach in Malibu, California. GUCCI will also make a million dollar donation to UNICEF and 50.000 dollar for the Maribel Foundation which Jennifer started with her sister.
The collection will hit the stores in spring 2011.
